Seven Day Rain Totals

After dire prediction of below average precipitation this winter, Texas continues to thrive with precipitation totals nearly 200 percent of normal over the past two months. This graphic shows rainfall accumulations over the past seven days. Much of the Texas Hill Country and East/Southeast Texas have received over two to three inches of rain, with some locations approaching five inches! The new drought monitor from the Climate Prediction Center will be released on Thursday and I have a feeling we’ll have some pretty good news to share with everyone!
