Temperatures will remain above-average through most of next week. High temperatures through Halloween will be in the 80s to lower 90s. Overnight low temperatures will fall back into the 50s, 60s, to lower 70s. Patchy fog may develop each morning but will burn off by mid-morning. Rain chances remain low through Sunday. Those attending weekend festivities should expect it to feel like late-summer with southerly winds. There will be isolated to widely scattered showers on Monday (Oct 31) across the Rio Grande Valley, Deep South Texas, the Middle Texas Coast, and South-Central Texas. We do expect those chances to become lower by Monday evening festivities. The remainder of Texas will stay dry and quite warm.

Forecast confidence for November 2-4 remains low due to model disagreement. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Severe weather is not expected. This aspect of the forecast is likely to change as confidence in one particular solution increases. By late next week another strong heat dome will build across the heartland. High temperatures look to remain well above-average for the first week of November.
